Benoit Vatere, CEO
In his role as Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Benoit oversees the strategic vision and execution for the company. Prior to Mammoth, Vatere served as CEO and General Manager of Playhaven. He was also VP of Distribution Network at LookSmart. Benoit has co-founded two technology companies, most recently the leading optimization platform, magnify360. Benoit is driven by a passion to shape the mobile media reality of the future.
Barry Blumberg, CCO
Barry is responsible for all content produced across Mammoth’s existing and developing platforms. Prior to Mammoth, Barry served as Defy Media’s CCO where he was involved in the creation and expansion of the SMOSH comedy brand. Previously, Barry was president of Walt Disney Television Animation, where he oversaw more than 1,000 episodes of animation. Barry has held executive positions at several top digital entertainment companies and brings over 20 years of content development experience to the Mammoth Media team.
Fei Xiao, VP Product
Fei Xiao oversees the company’s app portfolio, branding and visuals. Prior to Mammoth, Fei was Product Manager & Designer at Houseparty, the group video chat app with 1M+ daily active users, where she orchestrated all aspects of branding, visuals and key features. Before Houseparty, Xiao was the lead designer at the lingerie startup, ThirdLove, where she redesigned the mobile and web experience from the ground up.
Peter Szabo, CRO
Peter oversees all external partnerships, revenue generation, advertising & marketing for the company. Prior to Mammoth, Peter was an SVP at Shazam, where he ran two teams - US Ad Sales & Global Music. Before Shazam, Peter was a founding member of the Audio Sales team at Pandora. For nearly two decades, Peter has been at the intersection of technology, brands, music & monetization.
Solene Schwartz, VP Operations
Solene oversees the monetization, user acquisition and business intelligence for the company. Prior to Mammoth, Solene spent 3+ years at Plahaven where she was instrumental in leading the business intelligence team for the mobile ad network. Solen is an honors graduate of MIT where she completed her Masters Degree in Business Administration and Management.
Matt Turner, CTO
In his role as CTO and Co-Founder, Matt leads the technical vision of the company’s products, oversees the engineering teams and manages network operations as well as quality assurance. Before Mammoth, Matt was CTO and Head of Product at Speek, which was named Wall Street Journal’s Top 25 Startups of the Year", Entrepreneur Magazine's "100 Most Brilliant Companies" for 2013, and PC Mag's "100 Top Websites of 2013”. Prior to joining Speek, Matt was the CTO of Userplane. During his time the platform usage scaled to 25 million monthly active unique users across all of its partner sites.
Talia Kocar, VP Content
Talia develops and oversees the creation of compelling content to attract and engage the next generation of consumers. Prior to her role with Mammoth Media, Kocar led content development at the startup IconApps, on the Inlight app, a lifestyle content focused virtual magazine. She also worked at Science Inc. on various businesses like delicious.com where she studied audiences and demographics in order to curate content experiences on a daily basis.
